Brannan Street is a collection of songs that were never on an American Music Club record - or on Klamath - my last solo record. There are a couple instrumental pieces, some brand new songs as well as older... There is no central theme except to let people to hear songs recorded in a more acoustic format. There are two which are re-inventions from songs on Klamath - one of which I rewrote all the lyrics (I Know There's Someone Waiting) and the other (The River) which is the song just sung with an acoustic guitar...
